Aloha and welcome to Freshmen English grade 9. This will be my seventh year team teaching. I transferred from James Campbell High School in Hawaii. I earned my BA degree at the University of Hawaii West Oahu and earned my M.A.Ed. degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix. I am very passionate and driven and will strive to help your children meet content standards, but more importantly learn the life skills necessary to be successful with their college and/or career pathways.

Goals and Objectives

This course is designed to help each student meet State and National Common Core standards in Reading, Writing and Oral Communication. Our emphasis this year will be argument writing. Each lesson plan is designed to help students practice the assigned Common Core standard for each term.
