Ms. Yardley   

Hello Families, 

Kristen Yardley has been doing professional theatre for 15+ years. Her career started with Disney’s The Lion King at Mandalay Bay and has taken her on a national tour across the country, then bringing her back to Las Vegas. Ms. Yardley worked for Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere, Viva Elvis, One Drop and Zarkana, as well as Base Entertainment’s Rock of Ages, RuPaul’s Drag Race and many more shows through IATSE as an in house Wardrobe, Hair & Makeup Technician at the Smith Center. Ms. Yardley is thrilled to be able to share her experience and knowledge with students curious to learn about the exciting careers in Technical Theatre.  

My goals as an educator are to create learning opportunities for all students, motivate them and push them forward to do better. I believe that by supporting students to think critically, solve problems, learn how to communicate and work as a team will help students strengthen their confidence to make good and rewarding choices.
