Welcome to our Griffith Elementary School website!
My name is Lori Andrews and I am happy to be the principal of Griffith Elementary School!Ā
Before coming to Griffith, I have had the opportunity to serve students throughout the Las Vegas valley and also in Texas, where I began my career in education. I have worked in a variety of capacities at both the elementary and middle school levels. Whether it was working with students as an elementary and middle school classroom teacher, serving students and teachers as a literacy specialist, or focusing on student achievement and celebrating successes as an elementary school administrator, I have always loved having the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children. I have a great husband, four wonderful children, two adorable granddaughters, and when I'm not at school, I like to spend time with my family, travel, read a good book, or play with our family's dogs.
If you have questions or concerns about your child's education, remember, we are here for you. Speaking with your child's teacher is a great first step, as they can share information about your child's strengths and areas of growth, behavior, and motivation. You are also welcome to speak with me or one of our Assistant Principals, Mrs. Jimenez & Mrs. Gellens. Communication between family and the school is essential to student learning and growth. By working together as a team, we can help your child achieve success.

Dear Griffith Grizzly Families,
I am both honored and excited to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Griffith Elementary School. Many of you know me from my time here over the past decade, and I am thrilled to embark on this new chapter with all of you.
Having served in various roles at our school, I have witnessed firsthand the dedication and passion that define our community. From my previous roles as the Read by Grade 3 Strategist, I have developed a deep appreciation for each school member's unique spirit and commitment. My time here has only strengthened my belief in our shared mission to provide an exceptional educational experience for every student.
As I transition into the role of Assistant Principal, I am excited to continue working closely with our talented teachers, supportive parents, and enthusiastic students. My goal is to build on our strong foundation and explore new opportunities for growth and innovation. I am committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive, and I look forward to collaborating with each of you to achieve this.
