If your child is isolating due to illness or is required to quarantine due to exposure to COVID-19, they will be placed on Temporary Blended Learning status. They will be able to join their class via Google Meet for portions of the day and will also be able to complete work via Canvas.

If you require an online-only option, Nevada Learning Academy (NVLA) is a separate, full-time online school. Students who enroll at NVLA will still be Clark County School District students, but would not be enrolled at Griffith ES.

At NVLA, an adult, usually the parent or guardian, must serve as an at-home Learning Coach who is responsible for assisting the student in maintaining progress in the online learning environment and who helps the student throughout the day during instruction. Active involvement of a learning coach is a requirement for the program.
