Elite Athlete Try Out Friday August 21st 2-4:30p

The Greenspun JHS Cheer Team is a highly athletic competitive team that requires a high level of commitment. Athletes will compete in 3-4 competitions during the year along with cheering at football and basketball games, participating in community/school events, and fundraising.

GJHS Cheer Team is looking for a couple elite athletes to add to our Sideline/Competition Team 

Tumbling Requirement: Roundoff Back Handspring 

Jump Requirement: Toe Touch & Right Front Hurdler 

TRYOUT REGISTRATION

• All participants must complete a NIAA Sports Physical or have a current Aktivate Account 

• All participants must provide a copy of Spring Semester grades.  Grade requirement 2.0 GPA and with no Fs.  

• What to Wear:

  • Comfortable school appropriate athletic clothes

  • Cheer/Tennis shoes

  • Hair pulled back

  • No Jewelry

• Athletes will learn a cheer and then perform it the same day, along with demonstrating their tumbling and jump skills

Wednesday @ CheerCats 2:15-3:30pm
