Instrument Ensemble

(Space is limited to 18 students)

The Judy & John L. Goolsby Ensemble is made up of 4th and 5th Graders who are interested in developing their instrument skills and challenging themselves with quality music. To be in the ensemble, students must complete an audition and demonstrate the following:

• proper mallet and instrument technique as taught in the music classroom

• an understanding of the steady beat and rhythmic notation and reading

• a superior ensemble spirit and pride in their efforts and work

Rehearsals are Monday and Friday before school from 8:00 - 8:50 am.
