About Mrs. Gleason

This is my 16th year teaching in Clark County, all in a middle school setting. I have a bachelor's degree from UNLV in secondary education focusing on comprehensive ELA. I also have my masters from NOVA Southeastern University (that's in Florida!) in Educational Leadership/Administration. After I completed my masters, I continued at NOVA Southeastern and earned an educational specialist degree in reading. This means that I am a licensed reading specialist. My next goal is to become Nationally Board Certified in ELA.

I was born here in Las Vegas which makes me a product of the Clark County School District. I graduated from Basic High School and then went on to get my undergraduate degree from UNLV.

I am looking forward to our year together and I know we will have a great time, doing all things English. Work hard and always do the best you can do in everything!!
