Originally from Northeast Ohio, I graduated from Youngstown State University and headed West in the summer of 1999 and started my teaching career opening Desert Pines High School.  I then opened up Coronado High School in 2001 and taught there for many wonderful years.  I have now been at Desert Oasis High School since it opened up in 2008, totaling 26 years teaching kids about the Earth and biology.  I love my job and love this school.  I look forward to another great year!
