HOSA Membership

You can join anytime!  Come to our next meeting and talk to an officer or advisor about becoming an official member. 

To become an official member, you must complete the membership form(s) AND pay the annual membership dues by the deadline.  

The HOSA DOHS Chapter annual membership dues are $40.00. (This includes the cost of a member T-shirt and covers the HOSA national and NV state dues.)

• The payment deadline is the first Friday of September. The 2026-2027 school year deadline is Friday, September 25, 2026.

• Dues may be paid via the school banker or the DOHS Webstore. Please maintain a copy of your receipt to submit to HOSA Advisors with the membership packet. 

• Only paid HOSA members will be permitted to participate in HOSA conferences, special events, group community service, and other opportunities.

HOSA Cords & Stoles

To earn a HOSA graduation cord, you must be an active member for at least 1 year.  Active members must participate in all of the following:

• Attend 50% of meetings

• Participate in Fundraisers

• Complete a min. 15-hours of community service (must be related to healthcare, HOSA Barbara James Service Award criteria)

• Attend Special Events

To earn a HOSA graduation stole, you must be an active member for at least 2 years AND have positive participation at a HOSA State Leadership Conference (SLC) for at least 1 year.
