Hi! I'm Ms. Dean and I'm from Las Vegas, Nevada.

I attended junior high at Dell H. Robison Jr. High School (Yep! the round ones!) and graduated from Eldorado High School in East Las Vegas. I graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education English before teaching at Burkholder Jr. High School from 2001-2004 when they closed the school to demolish and rebuild. Mannion opened in the fall of 2004, and I along with the staff at Burkholder, moved to open this school.

Although I am an English teacher, I have a love of science and math, and find ways to embed both in the daily lessons. And I love grammar, but who doesn't?
