This site will guide you through the steps of applying to the College of Southern Nevada.
Your next step will be to apply to the College of Southern Nevada (CSN).
The deadline to apply to CSN is March 21.
This is a multi-step process, so please pay attention to ALL of the requirements.
By the end of this webpage, you will have completed the following steps:
Created a CSN Profile and validated your CSN Profile account.
Applied to CSN as a High School/Early College Program applicant.
Received NSHE# and validated your MyCSN account.
Sent CSNHS your NSHE# (Link below).
Logged into 2 orientations - one for the high school (CSNHS) and one for the college (CSN).
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) gives all students an ID #. Your NSHE # will be used when communicating with CSN.
If you have taken dual credit courses before at your current high school (with CSN, NSC, UNR, or UNLV), use the NSHE ID already assigned to you. It is important that you use the NSHE# already assigned to you or you will get a duplicate account which can cause problems later.
If you have never taken a dual credit course before, you will leave NSHE ID questions blank and an NSHE ID will be assigned to you once you apply.
At the bottom of the page click on the High School and Early College Programs Admissions Application link to apply.
Create a CSN profile to begin the CSN application process.
Once your account is created, you will receive an email for account verification. The link in the verification email is only active for 24 hours.
The email address you provide will be used to communicate with you during the CSN application and registration process.
Write down your username and password so that you remember it.
You will get an email with your profile verification information.
Once you have the email, verify your profile.
Verify your CSN Profile and Update your information.
After updating your Profile Information, start your application.
