The Coronado Theatre Department is a proud member of the International Thespian Society (ITS), an honor society for middle school and high school theatre students and a division of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA). The Coronado Theatre Department remains an active member in good standing, as Troupe # 6477.

In 2019, the Coronado Theatre Department was adjudicated to perform Legally Blonde the Musical at Nevada Thespians State Conference. They were also adjudicated in 2023 for their production of Mamma Mia! and again in 2025  for their production of Once Upon a One More Time.
