The Coronado Theatre Department is a proud member of the International Thespian Society (ITS), an honor society for middle school and high school theatre students and a division of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA). The Coronado Theatre Department remains an active member in good standing, as Troupe # 6477.

In 2019, the Coronado Theatre Department was adjudicated to perform Legally Blonde: the Musical at Nevada Thespians State Conference.
