The mission of the Canarelli Middle School Counseling Department is to provide all students with access to comprehensive and developmentally appropriate counseling services which promote equity in achievement. The school counseling program will advocate for all students to have access to the resources and support necessary to be successful academically and socially. In partnership with students, staff, family, community and the workforce, we strive to prepare students to become effective learners, achieve in school, live successful and rewarding lives, and develop into contributing members of our society.

Our school's master schedule for all classes offered is the end result of months of planning, student course selection lessons, and parent letters/communication, coupled with staffing needs of the school. As a consequence of this extensive process, schedule changes WILL NOT be made except for the following reasons:

High school promotion credit requirements
Level misplacement in an academic area according to ability
Absence of a core content class (English, math, science, history) on the student's schedule
Administrative direction to balance courses
