In competing in a conference, you are required to choose topics in which you will compete in. Topics decide what you will specifically do in competing in a competition. By choosing a topic you need to follow its description, ideas, rules, and its specific theme/topic.
Example: Board Game Design, Fashion Design.
When choosing a topic, some topics may have themes. You must follow the theme in your selected topic. Themes help specify what you have to accomplish. Please remember to always follow your theme as best as you can.
The state conference, located in Northeast Career and Technical Academy, is an event held where you will present your mastery of a given topic. This is where you will compete and be decided on a placement based on how well you did in your given topic.
You are required as a member to go to this state conference.

You are only required to compete in a minimum of 2 topics.
You can only compete in a maximum of 5 topics. Please talk to a board member if you wish to compete in more then 5.

In certain topics, there may be an option to work as teams. Please follow the minimum and maximum members of those topics. Topic requirements are different with each topic.
If your topic allows you to work as an individual, yes you are allowed to!
Your board members are happy and allowed to help you in your topic! We do not bite!
You must participate in required meetings, and have a reasonable attendance for our non-required meetings.
PoW (proof of work) meetings are meetings where you must show progression in your selected topic to your board members.
