· All devices must be powered off and remain off during the instructional day and passing periods in compliance with CCSD Policy 5136.

· A student who makes visible any type of electronic device, will be asked to surrender the item(s) to appropriate staff/teacher. Staff/teacher will then turn in the item(s) to the office by 8:18 p.m.

· Beginning with the first offense, the student's parent or legal guardian (not emergency contact or sibling) will be required to retrieve the item from the office in person.
