Check Out what Bridger Robotics is Up to!

We want to thank all the people who allowed Bridger to compete this year. This is a look at what we did and some of the outcomes. Thank you to our Sponsors, parents, coaches and mentors, and of course, Jim Bridger MS administration for making this such a great year.

Bridger Robotics Course Overview

Building Engineers 1 and 2

In this two sequence CTE course, students learn and practice the basics of design and modelling which includes measurement, perspective drawing, CAD, and the design process through the implementation of Project Lead the Way curriculum. They will gain a foundational understanding of mechanisms, programming structures, and robotics through the use of hands-on building activities with LEGO and VEX robotics. The overall focus of the course is engineering careers and career skill building.

Robotics 7/8

Students will explore automation and robotics through the implementation of Project Lead the Way curriculum. VEX robotics will be used to understand basic mechanical and structural concepts. The primary focus of this course is engineering, careers in engineering and career skill building.

Advanced Robotics 8

Students will apply their knowledge of mechanisms, electronics, coding and problem solving to create solutions to real world problems using robotics and automation, while they explore careers in engineering, build career skills, and research the practical and ethical implications of automation.

Competition Robotic Teams

Our school has two competition robotics teams: FIRST Lego League and FIRST Tech Challenge.
