In this tour, 24 students participated in the program in Brno, where they visited the Water Cluster and experienced a living laboratory at Brno University. They also visited a forest living laboratory, where research and practical data collection are combined. Participants learned about the forest water cycle and the impacts of climate change by observing a hydrological station that monitors streamflow using sensors and reservoirs. They took part in hands-on data collection for precipitation and flow and explored how these data help explain the dynamics of the local water cycle. The tour also included a visit to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, allowing students to further connect theory with real-world applications. 

On 4 December 2025, approximately 150 participants attended the ZeroPollution4Water Cluster event held in conjunction with the Water Knowledge Europe Winter Edition 2025 in Brussels. The event highlighted the achievements of the Cluster’s first two years and explored future opportunities for collaboration.

Several SafeCREW partners, who are actively involved in the ZeroPollution4Water Cluster, seized the chance to connect face-to-face with colleagues from affiliated projects. They greatly valued the live sessions of the Cluster’s working groups that followed the public presentations. Incorporating fresh perspectives from the new projects, the working groups revisited and, where necessary, reorganized the working group structure. Together, they defined a common roadmap for the year ahead. afeCREW welcomed this rare occasion for in-person engagement, which sparked dynamic discussions, creative ideas, and productive brainstorming. This collaborative energy is expected to drive the Cluster’s upcoming initiatives, and SafeCREW looks forward to the next year with the Cluster.
