Dylan "Mr. Sunshine" Stevens was born with a rare genetic syndrome that made him truly one of a kind. Born blind and never growing beyond the size of a two-year-old, Dylan faced many medical challenges during his short life. He passed away on April 20, 2022, at the age of 15, from lung failure. Despite his struggles, Dylan was a radiant source of joy who brightened every life he touched.

To honor his memory, Dylan’s family created the Mr. Sunshine Fund, which supports an annual scholarship awarded to a North Union High School graduate recognized for exceptional kindness—voted on by friends, staff, and community members.

The main fundraiser is the Sunshine Market, held annually on the Saturday of Father’s Day weekend. All proceeds from meals, carnival games, mini donuts, and the Emmie Lu Collection booth go directly to the scholarship fund.

Thank you for supporting this cause and helping keep Dylan’s sunshine alive.
