Any parent, guardian, family member, alumni, or community supporter of Nutley's music programs can join! You don’t need to have a musical background—just a willingness to support the students.
Annual dues are $25 per family and you can be a member of what has been called "one of the most active parent groups in Nutley."

Membership qualifies your son/daughter for 100% credit in all fundraising activities they participate in. It also qualifies your son/daughter to be eligible for any Music Booster supplemental activity. The exciting news for seniors, if they are members, they are eligible for scholarships awarded by the organization. You can be part of a great, and more importantly, a fun support team for our incredibly talented music students.

College Scholarships – $5,250 annually
Summer Music Program Scholarships for qualifying Elementary and Middle School students
Senior Gifts and Complimentary Tickets to the Music Awards Dinner
Annual Holiday Luncheon at HS
Band Camp Pizza Lunch
Drum Major Academy Tuition
Hospitality at High School, Middle School and Elementary Concerts
Instructional Staff Stipends
Instrument and Equipment Repairs
Miscellaneous supplies and program-related equipment
T-Shirts for all Music Trip participants at HS and MS
Tri-M Music Honor Society Induction Ceremony
Subsidization of Uniforms and Accessories for all ensembles
We always need help with:
General Fundraising Committees (such as Holiday Vendor Fair, Tricky Tray, Café Night)
Student Fundraising Chairpersons and/or sorting orders on distribution days
Event support (Hospitality at Concerts and at event tables at Nutley Fall Fest and the Rotary Car Show)
Marching Band, Indoor Percussion and Winter Guard - (Pit Crew, Prop Construction, Uniform Fittings)
Serving on the Scholarships and Awards Dinner Committee

Not at all! While we support Marching Band heavily in the fall, we boost music initiatives year-round—the annual winter and spring concerts, festivals, department trips, winter guard, percussion ensemble, and elementary programming.
