Welcome to Science 2023-2024!
I'm so excited for all the science we are going to learn together this year. It may not be what we are used to while being IN the classroom together, but hopefully it will be just as fun!

About Mrs. Becker
I was born and raised, with my 2 sisters, in San Diego. We have a big Italian family that is very close. I'm the only one that lives far away. Growing up, I always wanted to be a teacher and my poor sisters and cousins had to be in my pretend classes.
I moved to Chico for college, where I met my husband (who moved me to Novato!). I graduated in 2001 and did my teaching credential program at San Francisco State.
I taught elementary school for 12 years in San Rafael and I started at Sinaloa in 2015. This is my 17th year of teaching (that might make me seem old...but I'm really still a baby!).
I still live in Novato with my husband, two kids (Cameron and Carly) and our sweet dog, Thomas. When we aren't at school, you can find us hanging out in our backyard or walking around downtown.
I never, in a million years, thought I'd be a science teacher. I always thought I was bad at science and I hated it. Then I became a teacher and realized EVERYONE is good at science! You just have to be curious.
I'm so excited to learn and be curious with you all this year!
