Rationale

The Faculty of Nursing has a policy to encourage the development of research and educational innovations among the lecturers and the undergraduate and graduate students and provide academic forums to present and publish the innovative studies at both national and international levels with the aims to build a collaborative network and share knowledge and experience with educational institutions worldwide. This can help increase the number of international research publications and citation index of the lecturers by integrating in the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Therefore, in order to become a Research University and achieve the EdPEx standard according to the policyof Thammasat University and the Faculty of Nursing, a multidisciplinary international conference called the 1st International Symposium on Health Innovation and Nursing Research 2017 will be held by the Faculty of Nursing as a mechanism to enhance the quality and academic utilization of research studies.
