History Bamboo Competition in Laos
Bamboo Swing Game
There are many ancient Chinese paintings with swings in them.
In China, there is a tradition of swinging during the Cold Food Festival or Tomb Sweeping Festival.
There are swing games all over the world and there are different ways to build them
Swing-like devices or games are also found in modern landscapes
- Designing a Bamboo Swing Game for Kids
- Create a scene playing on a bamboo swing
- Designing the structure and mechanism of a bamboo swing
Competition Requirements
1 Design Requirements:Â
   Designing a bamboo structure installation with a swing game
2 sizes:Square site dimensions: within 5 x 5 meters and up to 4.5 meters in height
            Dimensions of the long site: within 3 x 8 m and up to 4.5 m in height
            It's not that the size has to be so large, it's just within the range
3 Requirements for use:There are some "swings" with a rocking function for tourists to play, in line with the scale of human use;
4 safety:It must meet the safety requirements for use (non-intense exercise), and the bamboo structure has good wind resistance;
5 material structure:The main structure is made of raw bamboo material, the structure is skin-integrated, combining the characteristics of bamboo, the structure and structure to explore and innovate, other materials can be used appropriately, but need to consider the connection between other materials and bamboo.;
6 experimental:Advancing the design through small-scale structured experiments and documenting the experimental process;
Participation Requirements
Group 6-8 peoples include 1-2 Professor.
The official language of the contest is English.
Students at undergraduate.

Able to travel abroad alone.
