To provide the App's health and nutrition features, you may provide information such as:

Daily calorie targets and macro-nutrient targets

Food, diet, and meal entries with nutritional information

Exercise or activity information, where applicable

Other information you voluntarily enter into the App for calculating or tracking your health and nutrition goals

This information is used primarily to provide features such as BMI calculations, estimated Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), calorie recommendations, macro-nutrient calculations, and diet/nutrition tracking or any other related calculation within the App.

If the App allows or requires you to create an account, we may collect information associated with your account, such as:

Account identifier

Login/authentication information

Subscription or purchase status

We do not require you to provide information that is not necessary for the functionality of the App.

1.3 Diet and Food Logs

1.6 Health Platform Integrations (Apple HealthKit & Google Health Connect)

If you choose to sync Transform with Science with third-party health repositories such as Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect condition to availability of this feature in App:

We only read and write data that you explicitly grant permission for through your device permissions.

Data obtained through Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect is used solely to provide and improve the App's health tracking features.

We do NOT use data collected from Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect for marketing, advertising, or cross-app tracking purposes.

We do NOT sell data derived from HealthKit or Health Connect to third parties, data brokers, or advertising platforms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for purposes including:

Providing, maintaining, and personalizing Transform with Science

Creating and managing your user account

Calculating BMI, BMR, estimating TDEE, and providing calorie and macronutrient recommendations

Allowing you to set, monitor, and manage food, diet, and nutrition logs

Processing subscriptions, in-app purchases, and customer support inquiries

Identifying technical issues, monitoring performance, and improving App stability

Preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity

Displaying non-personalized or personalized advertisements, where applicable

Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our legal terms

IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER: We do not use your health or nutrition information to provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Transform with Science is intended for informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. You Have Control Over Your Data

We want you to have full control over your Personal Data. You can manage, update, or delete your data directly through the App.

Delete Your Data

You have the right to request deletion of your Personal Data. You can delete your account and associated data directly from the App by navigating to:

Profile > Security > Delete Account

and following the on-screen instructions.

Note: When you delete your account, your profile and associated health logs will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. 

Edit Your Data

You can review and update your profile information (age, sex, height, weight, body shape, goals) and modify or delete food and diet logs directly within the App.

Where applicable by law, you may request access to or a export copy of the Personal Data we hold about you by contacting us at the support details below.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your Personal Data for monetary payment.

We may share limited information with third-party service providers when necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the App. Categories of service providers include:

Cloud Hosting & Data Storage (e.g., Supabase, Firebase)

Analytics & Performance Monitoring (e.g., Google Analytics, Crashlytics)

Authentication & Security Infrastructure

Payment & Subscription Processing (e.g., Apple App Store/Google Play Billing)

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with App features. When you request account deletion through Profile > Security > Delete Account, your personal profile, health logs, and account identifiers will be permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except where extended retention is required by law or fraud-prevention obligations. Encrypted system backups are fully overwritten within 60 days.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from loss, unauthorized access, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Transform with Science is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has submitted personal data without parental consent, we will promptly delete it.

8. Your Regional Privacy Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., European Economic Area, UK, California, Canada), you may possess specific rights regarding your Personal Data, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data.

Right to Know: Request categories and specific pieces of personal data collected over the past 12 months.

Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information held by us.

Do Not Sell or Share My Information: We do not sell data for money. However, sharing data with ad networks for targeted ads may constitute 'sharing' under CPRA. You may opt out via device tracking settings.

Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
