Capture is a photo that has its ownership and context preserved. Unlike regular photos, which are just raw images with no information, Capture are digital information containers that are multi-layered and contain NFT ownership and context. Every Capture has its own unique associated certificate of authenticity made immutable and verifiable by the blockchain. The information remains with the Capture making it traceable even as it is shared, downloaded, and misused.
Capture was created in response to the growing provenance crisis and the ongoing plight photo creators experience when it comes to licensing their work. We see Capture as the next-generation NFT for establishing value and authenticity in the ever evolving digital asset landscape.
Raw images are just that. They are empty and don’t contain any information. As a digital information container, Captures are multilayered and contain a wealth of information. This information includes creator, ownership, creation time & location, blockchain record, and NFT token information.
As a digital information container, the information in Captures are retained even as it is shared and downloaded on the web. This makes it possible to trace and verify Capture digital assets. Captures multi-layered characteristics are made possible by the latest metadata standards as established by Content Authenticity Initiative.
Every Capture acquired from the CaptureClub has its own NFT token, but it is more than a NFT. At onset Captures are not NFT’s but digital assets that have their ownership and context preserved. Upon request, an extra NFT layer can be added into Captures through tokenization processes. When this happens, the asset itself on the outside will remain unchanged, however an additional information layer containing NFT-related information will be injected into the Capture. Unlike existing NFT wallet, which only allows you to own the tokens, Capture App allows you to own the raw content, the associated NFT token and other context related to the content.
It is important to note that Captures are NOT cryptocurrencies.
To make Capture digital assets accessible, CaptureClub accepts a variety of payment options including credit card and traditional crypto payments (Ethereum and ThunderCore).
When you purchase a Capture, you are getting the digital asset, its associated certificate of authenticity, as well as all the relevant injected information. This includes NFT ownership, context and most importantly licensing. Captures can be used and distributed according to the rights laid out in the licensing agreement or depending on the type of asset can be relisted and sold on the CaptureClub Marketplace.
Purchased Captures can be accessed via login your account in CaptureClub, Numbers Authentic Media Dashboard or in Capture App, a mobile Capture wallet.
Capture App is a camera app that leverages latest blockchain technology, standards and protocols to establish ownership and context at the moment a photo is taken. The information is sealed on the blockchain and in just a few seconds, your assets authenticity is secured.
With Capture App, it is possible to painlessly create Captures as every photo taken is a Capture. Additional features include listing Captures directly in CaptureClub (with Creator Gallery function), viewing purchased assets in Capture Wallet, and sending Captures to friends and family via in-app PostCapture feature.
Capture App is available to download for both Android and iOS.
When you purchase a Capture, the asset will appear in your Capture Wallet and can be viewed at your leisure. You can also download CAI, export the NFT and re-list in CaptureClub.

Even though Capture was designed with value and authenticity in mind, it really doesn’t mean much if creators cannot capitalize on their secured creations. CaptureClub was created as a marketplace for creators to host and monetize their creations.
Previously, creators had to rely on third party platforms such as Shutterstock to distribute their creations and establish ownership and rights at the cost of relinquishing their IP. CaptureClub was created to remove the barriers for monetization by removing the need for third parties as Captures have their ownership, context and rights established at creation. Most critically, Capture creators will have full control over their assets and monetize how they see fit in their own personal store within the CaptureClub Marketplace.
In order to allow creators to be more comfortable listing, CaptureClub has the "Creator Gallery" feature which allows users to easily create and list Captures.
After approval, creators can use the Creator Gallery to list their works by themselves. Creators can also apply for a gashapon/auction style drop.

If NFT gives digital content a subject of "ownership" that can be traded, bought and sold, and collected, then in addition to ownership, Capture can ensure the authenticity of digital assets themselves by recording a digital assets context.
※Copyright: The right to distribute a work after creation.
Current NFT cannot solve the problem of self-certified creation source, and it may happen that the creator's work is stolen and listed on any platform, which infringes the rights of the original creator. The works generated through Capture App/API have their own certification. After the creation is sold, the ownership is transferred to the collector however the creator's label will not disappear.
After the creation is transferred, the creator’s notes will not disappear. For independent creators or creators who are establishing a creative style, the work of being traded and shared can continue to be exposed.
The default labeling authorized use scope is BY-NC-ND (name labeling-non-commercial-no change)
※License: Sharing/using right.
The Captures sold by CaptureClub are clear, and the default labeling authorized use scope is BY-NC-ND (name labeling-non-commercial-no change). After the purchase, the owner must use it in accordance with the authorization regulations.Creators can also set the authorization specification and write it into the smart contract.
※Ownership: Right to trade/transfer
The digital assets generated in the Capture App can be transferred directly through the App (PostCapture); with the NFT mechanism, Capture NFT can be traded in NFT market.
The PostCapture function in the Capture App has allowed digital assets to directly transfer ownership within the App, but with the NFT mechanism, Capture NFT can be traded and circulated on more platforms.
In order to help creators get into the NFT market easily, CaptureClub’s Creator Gallery defaults to ThunderCore chain (TT) which is compatible with Ethereum as the NFT distribution chain, and all gas fees are waived by CaptureClub.
If the creator chooses ETH or BSC, they will need to pay an additional gas fees like for other general NFT platforms.
CaptureClub hopes to become the easiest NFT listing tool, reducing entry barriers and transaction costs. ThunderCore Chain (TT) is a public blockchain compatible with EVM, which can provide higher throughput, higher speed efficiency and lower cost.
In addition to CaptureClub, music NFT platforms such as OURSONG, which originated from the KKBOX Group, have also adopted ThunderCore Chain (TT).
Yes. In addition to the above public chains, we have also been exploring the possibility to support other chains, such as Flow.
All Captures on CaptureClub (including gasha series, auctions, and straight sales works on the Creators Gallery) will charge a 12% transaction service fee after sale.
Up until August 2021 is a promotion period where no fees will be charged before listing, only 12% transaction service fee will be charged after the sale. After the promotion period ends, the Creator Gallery will adopt a monthly fee system and the one-time payment dual-track model, creators can choose to pay a single listing fee or a monthly subscription (fixed number of listings per month).
