VoiceThread is a Chrome extension that allows users to record and share short voice notes on YouTube and Twitch pages.

Data we collect:

• A randomly generated user ID (stored locally)

• Audio recordings you choose to submit

• The URL of the page you're on when you record

How we use your data:

• Audio is uploaded to Cloudinary to generate a playable URL

• Voice note metadata is stored in Firebase Firestore

• All voice notes are publicly visible to other users on the same page

We do not collect:

• Your name, email, or any personal information

• Any data without your explicit action
