This is meant to serve as a resource for students, parents, and teachers

who are instructing and applying Joseph Campbell's idea of the Monomyth.

The Monomyth (aka Path of the Hero) Model is a great instructional tool.

It allows us to frame the year for the students, telling them that they will all go through a Road of Trials,

meet a dragon or two, and have to work to defeat that dragon. However, they are not alone,

they have us (their teachers), their mentors, here to support and guide them along the way.

We share that each hero makes mistakes and we expect them to make mistakes, too.
