What has been is what will be,
and what has been done is what will be done,
and there is nothing new under the sun.

Introduction
The Embedded Systems & AI (ESAI) lab is a research group in the School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) at Nazarbayev University (NU). Our current research focuses on Efficient On-device Multimodal AI, with emerging applications in Embodied AI and Robotics. We investigate AI/DL architectures, such as CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and State Space Models (SSMs) such as Mambas, targeting embedded, mobile, edge, edge, and consumer platforms.
You can find more information in the research projects.
If you are motivated, hard-working, and interested in studying abroad with publications, please contact the PI, Dr. Jurn Gyu Park (jurn.park@nu.edu.kz).
