Goal: The overall goal of STIN Modules is to assist academic staffs at STIN to conduct a research using a meta-analysis approach and preparing a manuscript suitable for publication in an international peer-reviewed journal.

Objectives: Participants who register for STIN Modules are expected to achieve the following specific objectives:

Formulating relevant research questions appropriate for potential meta-analysis.
Demonstrating proficiency in data collection for conducting a meta-analysis.
Gaining experience in conducting a meta-analysis or network meta-analysis.
Capable of preparing a meta-analysis research manuscript suitable for submission to an international peer-reviewed journal.
Overall activities: The comprehensive program spans 8 months and encompasses various activities, including training, conducting research, follow-up, and consulting. Throughout this duration, participants will engage in 4 modules, spanning a total of 10 days, to facilitate the step-by-step completion of a meta-analysis study.

Evaluating the suitability of research questions for conducting a meta-analysis.
Outlining the scope of the study.
Identifying potential studies that meet the inclusion criteria.
Creating a data extraction form.
Gaining practical experience in using statistical software to conduct a meta-analysis.

Conducting a bibliographic search and compiling search results for each database.
Conducting preliminary title/abstract screening.
