Dr Teerapon Dhippayom is currently the Head of The Research Unit of Evidence Synthesis (TRUES). Over the past 15 years, Teerapon has made significant contributions to various research projects in the field of pharmacy to enhance the quality of pharmacy services and facilitate their effective implementation. He has employed a variety of methodologies, including database analysis, questionnaire development, survey studies, focus groups, implementation research, and evidence synthesis. Teerapon further developed his expertise in evidence synthesis while serving as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy, & Economics (CHOICE) Institute, University of Washington in 2018.
Teerapon is currently a member of the Society for Research Synthesis Methodology. His research interests are primarily focused on evidence synthesis using systematic review and meta-analysis techniques. He has expanded his research scope to include health services interventions for a variety of medical conditions, such as diabetes, asthma, smoking and alcohol addictions, and warfarin management. In addition to generating health evidence, Teerapon has actively participated in numerous projects aimed at improving the standard practices for conducting evidence synthesis for health services interventions. He has recently developed an innovative approach, known as the Theme, Intensity, and Provider/Platform (TIP) framework. This framework has been used to characterize health services interventions for network meta-analysis in various health fields. It has helped to improve our understanding of the effectiveness of different interventions and their potential to improve patient outcomes.

Dr Itsarawan Sakunrag is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Naresuan University, and a member of The Research Unit of Evidence Synthesis (TRUES). In 2014, Dr Sakunrag attended the International Pharmacy Education Training Program at School of Pharmacy, University of Wisconsin-Madison, US, and worked as a research fellow at the same institution. Thereafter, she has taken part in a number of projects to improve pharmacy education. Dr Sakunrag’s clinical experiences are in the area of ambulatory care, with special emphasis on warfarin management, diabetes care, and respiratory disorders. In addition to conducting and publishing evidence syntheses in these areas, her other research interests include pharmacy education and health care services delivered via telemedicine.

Dr Pattamawan Kosuma is a specialist in Cardiology Pharmacotherapy, with a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy from the Pharmacy Council of Thailand. She joined the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Naresuan University in 2014. Dr Kosuma is currently practicing as a clinical pharmacist in Coronary Care Unit and Cardiovascular Thoracic Unit at Naresuan University Hospital where she serves as a preceptor for PharmD students in cardiovascular clerkship. Dr Kosuma is also responsible for a 3-months short course training in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy to enhance pharmaceutical care for clinical pharmacists. She is currently acting as a committee on the Community of Pharmacists for Heart and Vascular Disease in Thailand. Her research area of interest includes pharmacotherapy in heart failure, coronary artery disease, and cardiac surgery.

Dr Anjana Fuangchan is a clinician/educator in pharmacy practice with a specialty in ambulatory care and primary care. Dr Fuangchan started her academic career as a lecturer at Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Naresuan University in 1999. She has conducted several clinical trials of herbal medicine and natural product. She also has experience working as a clinical pharmacist at a diabetes clinic, Naresuan University Hospital over 5 years. Her main research interests include diabetes, ambulatory care, primary care, and clinical study of herbal medicine.

Dr Chuanchom Thananithisak is a faculty member of Department of Pharmacy Practice and a director of Naresuan University’s Community Pharmacies. After being awarded a PhD in 2009, Dr Thananithisak has trained and received a certificate in Family and Community Pharmacist Practice. Since then, she has been devoting herself to improving the quality of community pharmacy services and played a significant role in establishing a healthcare network under the National Health Security Office (NHSO) system. Dr Thananithisak has also served as a committee for the Thai Pharmacy Network for Tobacco Control (TPNTC) since 2004, and was recently appointed as a committee for the Community Pharmacy Accreditation, Pharmacy Council (Thailand) in 2022. Her main research interests are in the area of smoking cessation and pharmacy services.

Dr Panitan Pitak has been working as a clinical pharmacist at Nan hospital since 2014, after obtaining her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in Pharmaceutical Care from Naresuan University. In 2016, she has trained and received a certificate in internal medicine from Khonkaen University. At Nan hospital, Dr Pitak is a senior pharmacist and a member of a clinical research team for kidney disease and a patient care team for medication reconciliation. She has a strong determination to enhance her research skill and joined the Master program at Naresuan University in 2020. During her course, Dr Pitak has been working on two research projects, i.e. a systematic review and meta-analysis to determine the prevalence of glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes treated with insulin, and a systematic and network meta-analysis to explore the efficacy of different strategies to support insulin self-titration in type 2 diabetes patient.

Dr Kansak Boonpattharatthiti obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Pharmaceutical Care from Naresuan University in 2020. He served as a clinical lecturer at Burapha University for two years, where he taught clinical pharmacy. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Naresuan University, focusing on evidence synthesis and health outcomes research.
His research interests include systematic reviews, network meta-analyses, and the evaluation of clinical and public health interventions. He has contributed as an author to several peer-reviewed articles, including "Comparison of Insulin Titration Strategies for Glycemic Control in Type 2 Diabetes," “Exploring Methodological Approaches Used in Network Meta-Analyses of Psychological Interventions,” and “Clinical Outcomes of Different Warfarin Self-Care Strategies”, which were published in Diabetes Care and eClinicalMedicine, respectively.
Dr. Boonpattharatthiti is a member of ACTIVES—a national network that fosters collaboration and evidence-informed decision-making in Thailand—and he actively collaborates with multidisciplinary research teams. His work advances the use of high-quality evidence in healthcare decision-making.

Dr. Phiyanuch Thimkorn obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in Pharmaceutical Care from Srinakharinwirot University in 2014 and completed a Master of Pharmacy in Community Pharmacy from Naresuan University in 2023. She has been working as a lecturer at Abhaibhubejhr College of Thai Traditional Medicine in Prachinburi for ten years. Her primary research focus is on herbal products and Thai traditional medicine. Before pursuing her Ph.D program at Naresuan University, she was actively involved in several research projects, including studies on the roles and competencies of herbal pharmacists, the pharmacological activities and quality control of herbal products. Her research aims to provide evidence on the impact of herbal medicine in managing and preventing disease contributing to the integration of herbal medicine into mainstream approaches, potentially offering a cost-effective and accessible alternative or adjunct to current practices.

Dr. Natnicha Rattanachaisit is an independent researcher who is also associated with TRUES. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Naresuan University in 2020. Her research focuses on the generation and application of evidence through systematic reviews, network meta-analyses, and methodological studies. She has contributed to several projects covering a wide range of topics, including anticoagulation therapy with warfarin, the clinical use of herbal and traditional medicines, and the development of tools to improve the transparency and efficiency of evidence synthesis. Through her work, Dr. Natnicha aims to promote the use of reliable, high-quality evidence to inform clinical practice and health policy both in Thailand and internationally.

Miss Sirintip Intarapasit joined the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Naresuan University in 2005 as a research assistant and has been working as a research coordinator since 2011.
