Requirements for theses


FORMATION RECOMMENDATIONS:

The format of the materials – .doc, .docx

The language – English, Ukrainian, Polish.

The volume of work – 2-5 full pages.

The page size – A4, book size.

Valid font – Times New Roman.

The font size –12 front size for the main text, 11 front size for surnames, scientific degrees and titles (if available), names of places of work/education, keywords, names of figures/diagrams/tables and formulas.

The size of the fields – 2,0 cm on all sides.

Line spacing – single.

Indents:

- 1.5 spaces between thesis titles and surnames;

- between surnames and names of places of work/study – 1,5 intervals;

- between the names of the place of work/study and keywords – 1,5 intervals;

- between keywords and the text of the main part - 2 intervals;

- between the text of the main part and the list of references – 1,5 intervals.

Alignment of the text - by width.

Paragraph indentation – 1,0 cm.

Page numbering and automatic breaks are disabled.

Drawings and diagrams should be submitted in JPG format with a resolution of 300 dpi or more. All figures, diagrams and tables must have titles. For titles of tables, figures and diagrams, Times New Roman font, 11 front size, centered alignment is used. All drawings must be grouped as a single object.

Formulas must be placed in the center with numbering on the right edge. The formula editor Microsoft Equation is used when setting formulas.

Titles of sections in the test of the main part – 12 front size, bold.

References to the literature in the text – a through reference is used, in square brackets.

Bibliographic references should be drawn up according to the IEEE style. The editorial board recommends that you cite the current literature of 2017-2022, which is indexed by the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Self-citation is allowed, but not more than 15% of the reference list.

Abbreviation of academic degrees and titles:

In English: Professor – Prof., Associate Professor – Assoc.Prof., Lecturer – Lect., Senior Lecturer – Sr. Lect., Postgraduate student – ​​PhD student, Master students (master) – M.S.

SEQUENCE OF PLACEMENT OF MANDATORY ELEMENTS:


The title of theses (in the language of the work) – capital letters, bold font, 12 front size, center alignment.

Name and surname, scientific degree and rank (if available) - abbreviated. Next to the name, a superscript number indicates the link to the name of the place of work/study (see example) - regular font, 11 front size, center alignment. All authors are listed sequentially. The first name is in lowercase letters, the LAST NAME is in all capital letters.

The full name of the place of work/study with the country (the country is indicated in parentheses) - regular font, 11 front size, center alignment. All names of places of work/study are indicated sequentially, according to the sequence of authors. Repeated names are not duplicated.

Keywords (at least 5 words or phrases, in the language of the article) – regular font, 11 front size, alignment on the left edge. Every word, including in a word combination, is lowercase. Keywords are followed according to the example.

The text of the main part is a regular font, 12 front size, width alignment.

List of references - regular font, 12 front size, width alignment. All items from the list of references must have their own reference in the text of the work. A through link is used.


The maximum number of co-authors for one theses is 4, one author can participate in no more than 2 theses.

Students must submit theses with the participation of a scientific supervisor.


RECOMMENDED THESIS STRUCTURE:


- Introduction (relevance of the topic, formation of the problem, analysis of the latest research and publications in which the solution to this problem has been started and on which the author relies, selection of previously unsolved parts of the general problem to which theses are devoted).

- The purpose of the work (statement of the problem in general form and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks).

- Presentation of the main research material (an outline of the main research material, a description of the theory, method, research model, with justification of the obtained scientific results and their discussion).

- Research conclusions and prospects for further research in this direction.

It is advisable to give the names of these points according to the text of theses.
