2019 Migrant Workers Academy in Taoyuan City

  • Migrant workers play critical roles in Taiwan's economic development, and they are a part of Taiwanese culture and social life. The Department of Labor of Taoyuan City Government has raised funds and entrusted National Taiwan Sport University to set up the “Migrant Worker Academy.” This Academy is offering a variety of language classes to help legal migrant workers quickly adapt to life in Taiwan and understand more about Taiwanese culture.

📝Program Description of 2019 Migrant Worker Academy

✎ Organizer:

Department of Labor, Taoyuan City Government.

✎ Co-organizer:

National Taiwan Sport University.

✎ Courses Offered:

    1. Chinese class ：Four hours per week for six weeks.
    2. English class ：Four hours per week for six weeks.
    3. Financial management class
    4. Skills training class

✎ Fees:

Free.

✎ Registration Qualification:

Legal migrant workers in Taoyuan City.：

✎ Class Size:

20-50 students in each class(A class will be cancelled if the number of students is less than 20.)

✎ Dates:

From July 20th to September 30th on Saturdays or Sundays.
