The PAGASA Modernization Program aims to improve the country’s weather forecasting, climate monitoring, and disaster warning systems by upgrading technology and data accuracy. It does this by installing more weather radars and automatic weather stations, improving flood and storm surge forecasts, and making sure warnings reach local governments and communities on time, helping people prepare better and stay safe during natural hazards.
