The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers spcializing in the content and pedagogy for elementary education.
The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) program aims to educate individuals to be competent early childhood practitioners working wiith children from 0-8 years old in various early childhood settings (home, community, school, and workplace). It is aligned with the National Early Learning Framework (NELF), the National Competency Based Teacher Standards (NCBTS 2017), and the first key stage which is K to 3.
The Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd) program prepares teachers who will instruct and manage students with additional needs in inclusive and segregated educational settings. Graduates will be equipped to teach the basic education curriculum and alternate curricula depending on the needs of the students. Those who will teach the elementary level will be trained accross different subject areas. Those who will teach in the secondary level will provide educational support to students with additional needs in inclusive classrooms or provide educational services to students who may be enrolled in special education centers. A graduate of this degree should be able to teach in regular and special education schools as a teacher provided that the graduate passes the Licensure Examination for Teachers in the subject of specialization.
The Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) is a program aimed at equipping graduates with competencies to meet the psychomotor, cognitive, and affective needs of learners. Graduates may become Physical Education Teacher in Basic Education, Dance and Sports Club Moderator, or School-based Sports Program and Events Moderator/Coordinator.
The Bachelor of Technical and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) program aims to develop highly competent and motivated teachers in Technology and Livelihood Education. The curriculum shall impart a body of knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, and experiences that will provide prospective TLE Teachers with the necessary competencies essential for effective teaching.
