Quality improvement is a continuous iterative process broadly consisting of assess, review and suggest steps.
The NSUT-IQAC works in unison with the Central University Management System(CUMS) to obtain all department wise data related to student examination performance, student attendance, lectures delivered, practical conducted and stakeholder feedback.
The data is analyzed and review reports are shared with all departments to enable them to apply corrective actions for improving quality.
Academic Audit
The NSUT-IQAC conducts internal academic audits of all departments of the university regularly on a yearly basis. To obtain ‘Excellence in Academics’ ,the internal academic audit is conducted across parameters of academic concern. Feedback from Stakeholders
To ensure active collaboration and participation of all stakeholders of the university, NSUT-IQAC regularly collects feedback from all stakeholders viz. students, parents, employers and officers/staff of the university. This information is disseminated amongst the stakeholders so that appropriate corrective steps may be taken to improve overall quality.
Student feedback has a pivotal role in improving the quality of teaching . Student feedback can help a teacher by providing pointers to improve his teaching. NSUT-IQAC with support of CUMS provides an automated mechanism for online filling of feedback forms by students for the courses attended by them after the completion of a semester. A teacher can view his completed feedback report by logging into his/her CUMS account. Additionally the HOD has access to feedback reports of all faculty members of the department.
Feedback from other stakeholders viz. employers, parents , staff and officers of the university are also obtained regularly .Feedback from employers is obtained during the placement drive by the Training and Placement office of the university. Feedback from the staff and officers of the university is regularly obtained for suggestions in improving the university procedures . Feedback from parents helps in improving the university academic and administrative procedures and policies. Suggestion boxes are placed at different locations of the university. Log books are maintained along with the suggestion boxes to keep a record of the suggestions received by stakeholders and action taken in response to the suggestions.
