My field of research is Relativistic Heavy Ion Physics, which is a specialized sub-field of Nuclear Physics. I was a Physics Professor at Wayne State University from 1991-2010 (Go Lions!), before coming to UH. In 2016 I became a Distinguished MD Anderson Professor of Physics.
