Hello,
I am James Myers, from Papillion Nebraska. I am an alumni of Papillion-La Vista South High School and graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln. I completed my first practicum at Scott Middle School teaching a differentiated 8th Grade U.S. History Class. I then completed my student teaching at Gretna High School where I taught 11th grade World History along with 10th grade Introduction to Social Sciences including the four following units: Economic, Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology. While at Gretna I also assisted in coaching the Boys Golf Team.
I am proud to say I now teach 8th Grade United States History at Norris Middle School along with being the Head coach of the Boys and Girls Golf Teams! Go Titans!

Golf - I played golf at Papillion La-Vista South High School and worked at Sunset Valley CC in Omaha NE.
Ultimate Frisbee - I played on UNL's club team throughout college where I was able to travel the Midwest to compete against surrounding universities.
Hiking - I love to travel and explore new places. Some of my favorite hikes are in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Honduras & Belize.
Running - I try to run almost everyday. In 2019 I ran the Lincoln Half Marathon.
Reading - Reading is a major passion of mine. I enjoy reading many historical biographies along with classic fiction novels.
