Hello,
My name is Ms. Jessie! I will be the 11&12th Grade Homeroom teacher this year. Originally from Omak WA, but have spent the last 9 years living and teaching Special Education in Tacoma, WA. I graduated in 2022 from Western Governors University (WGU) with my BA in Special Education and again in 2024 at WGU with my Masters in Education in Learning and Technology. In 2025 I completed all of the Principal Certification courses and plan on completing my Principal Internship during the 2026-27 school year.
My family recently moved back to Omak, I have 4 kids at home along with our 6 dogs and 2 cats! My favorite things to do at home is cook and watch true crime TV!
This is my first year at Nespelem School and I am excited to get to know your students.
Welcome to Middle and High School Science
In addition to being Homeroom for 11&12th grade, I will also be teaching Science for grades 7-12. We will be using the APEX platform for our science content. Your student will be getting a mix of independent computer work, hands on labs and time working in our onsite garden and greenhouse projects. As we move into first semester, I will be adding updates and important information on this page. Please continue to check for updates.
This is where I will post any updates , links and important news:
Today is the last day of Semester 1! I can't believe how fast this year is going. Most of our class is wrapping up with Units 3 & 4. We will be finishing up Semester 1 in APEX and starting a new unit soon.
Report cards for the end of Semester 1 will be mailed out soon. We will be having an assembly this afternoon 01/20/26 to honor the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
