Below is a list of suggested supplies your fourth grader will need for the upcoming school year. Items marked as optional are not required but are greatly appreciated—they help keep our classroom running smoothly and staying healthy!

Please label all items with your child’s name, and note that supplies marked with an asterisk (*) often need to be replenished as the school year goes on.

If you’d like, feel free to bring supplies to our Meet & Greet on Monday, August 25 (time TBD). Setting up desks ahead of time can help ease first-day jitters and helps your fourth grader feel confident and ready for the exciting year ahead!

FOURTH GRADE SUGGESTED SUPPLY LIST:

• Colored pencils (1 set)

• Scissors (1 pair)

• Pencils* (sharpened if possible)

• Erasers

• Dry erase markers* (thin/fine tip markers preferred)

• Dry erase marker eraser (a sock or piece of cloth work great!)

• Spiral notebook (1, 1 subject, wide ruled) 

• Folders (1, 2 pockets) (note: plastic folders tend to last the whole school year)

• Pencil box or soft zipper pencil pouch  (1)

• Glue sticks*

• Sticky notes (1 package, large enough to jot notes on)

• Pen (1, color if possible!)

• Headphones or earbuds (labeled)

• Markers or Crayons (optional)

• Clorox or Lysol Wipes* (optional, but appreciated!)

• Tissues* (optional, but appreciated!)

• Independent reading book (for the first day of school)

*These items often need replenishing throughout the school year.
