ABCYa K-1 Reference Sheet: while ABCYa is full of wonderful activities that support students in learning the mouse and keyboard, they should only be doing the activities that are aligned with these or other computer skills. I've started a document listing which games are aligned to which skills, plus some seasonal choices. I'll continue building this document, so let me know if there's anything which should be added. Emergency plans: some printable worksheets that you'll want to have handy in case the Internet and power go down, I've also included some options that can be done without any preparation. LINK HERE
As you are able: Add the shortcut to Clever (https://clever.com/in/nashua) to each student's (especially K/1) desktop. When students follow this link they will be able to log in with Google, but will not have to type "@nsd42.net". You may also wish to change the default browser from Edge/Explorer to Chrome.
Frayer Instruction: I've recorded an 8-minute Loom video on how to use the Frayer with your students and why: https://www.loom.com/share/9b9ce4f163b84536b10b0af28366f59a. The video which I've recorded for fourth/fifth grade this week shows how students can create their book of Frayer words.
Google Classroom Template: I made this template for the year, please join through THIS CODE and I'll elevate you to teacher status so that you can make copies. THIS six-minute Loom video will help to refresh you on how to do this.

I like to display a binary question for kids to answer during attendance taking, here is a deck with 12 questions that you may like to use over the first 12 weeks of school! I will continue adding slides if anyone fills out the form at the end. It could be a fun time filler to ask older students to submit ideas. Please let me know if you need any help with this!

At the moment this is a page here on the site that I'll add resources to from time to time. Please let me know if these are too much and cause overwhelm, or if you find them supportive.
You are not required to use them at all!
