About the Library

Students are able to borrow books during their library class. Please help your children think of a safe place to keep their library books so they can return them each week and borrow new books.  

Loan Policy

Kindergarten and First Grade students may borrow one (1) book.

Second, Third, and Fourth Grade students may borrow up to two (2) books.

When students forget to return their book, they may not borrow another one until it is returned. 

When students borrow a library book, it is their responsibility to return it.  If the book is lost, please consider purchasing a new book for the library, at a cost that comes close to the replacement cost of the lost book.

We have also had several issues with wet and damaged books. Please ask your child to review our rules for taking good care of library books so we can all enjoy!

Students may borrow additional items for class projects when necessary and requested by teachers.

Our Collection

Our library has many books in print, eBooks, library subscription databases and materials to support our school curriculum and our students’ love of reading.  Our Destiny Online Catalog (OPAC) allows staff and students to search for titles from any computer in or out of school.
