SchoolTool & Google Classroom Grade Importing
Mindex has indicated that teachers can import assignments after they have synced their rosters (via their Roster screen). However, BOCES has found some inconsistencies with this. If teachers do not see the "G" to import assignments in the new gradebook (after synching), they can switch back to the "Legacy" gradebook, import their assignments, then switch back to the new gradebook.
To switch to the legacy gradebook, teachers can go to their main screen, click the "Choose your grading experience....." link and select "Use Legacy", then go into their gradebook.
BOCES is working with Mindex to resolve this issue.
Archive "Old" Google Classrooms
Students can no longer unenroll and they don't want old classrooms on their page. PLEASE archive old classrooms! You can still reuse assignments and all files will still exist in your Google Classroom folder.

Student Chromebooks won't connect/old password required/can't get to Google Classroom!
Signing out of the Chromebook, then removing all profiles and connecting to the Guest Network at school seems to resolve these issues.
Connecting to the "wrong" Wifi or not connecting
Google Classroom "account already in use"
Requires old password to logon
Where are my files? Why can't I save to Google Drive?
You need to connect or reconnect your Google Drive Desktop Sync on your Windows PC. (Student's using computers, not Chromebooks will need to follow these steps too!) Try opening the file from the Windows File Explorer which looks like a manila folder on the bottom task bar, if you don't see Google Drive, check out this resource.
If you do not see the Google Drive triangle icon on the lower right of your computer screen that may be the problem.
