BUSINESS DEGREE POPULARITY: Of potential career majors, Business & Marketing is the one most often pursued by High School Graduate students, with 22% majoring in the field. This is followed by Health Care, 21% and Computer Science, 15%.
Business is also the most common career field for College Graduates at (19%), trailed far behind by education (8%), Health Care (8%), Communications (7%) and Engineering and Architectural Sciences (6%). -National Center for Education Statistics 2004

· Fastest growing occupations are found in so-called "white collar office employment" positions. These jobs are generally the best paid as well.
· The jobs are made up of managers, accountants, editors, and marketers.
· Office occupations make up 39% of all jobs.
