STUDENT ARTWORK
SCHOOL YEAR 2023-24
Photography: Throughout the semester, students worked on learning how to create well balanced
compositions focused on rule of thirds, symmetry, and light. They also worked with a DSLR camera
on manual mode to learn how to adjust the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.
Digital Design: The students learned to use design applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Photopea. They used design tools, filters, blending modes, and other features to create compositions inspired by artists like Reginald Baylor, Giuseppe Arcimboldo, and David Hockney. The students experimented with principles of design creating delicate, fun, and interesting designs.
Mixed Media: The students worked with various media to experiment and create works of art.
