About Me
Hello! My name is Brittany Schmitz. I will be your child's 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade math teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. This is my third year in Nuiqsut and I am happy to be back! This is my 6th year teaching and all of my teaching has been throughout Alaska. I am originally from rural New York State and I moved to Alaska in 2016. In my free time I like reading, watching sports, and spending time with my cats. I look forward to a great year.

Distance Delivery
Nuiqsut Trapper School is currently in RED status.
Green (Low Risk) Status: Students are in school 5 days a week and are wearing masks.
Red (High Risk) Status: Work packets will be sent home each week with a schedule for completing assignments. Students can also check this website for videos/assignments.
