Graduation 2020
It has been decided to wait until assemblies are allowed to hold a formal graduation for our 2020 Pleasant Creek School seniors. A date in the future will be determined. Great job this year everyone! I know it's been hard, but we have pulled through with a high success rate and you have been impressive with your work ethic. Keep going until May 22nd!
A message from Governor Herbert
With the order of dismissal by Governor Herbert, Pleasant Creek High School has continued student-teacher interactions through live online webinars using Zoom as our primary web source. Students continue to receive quality education through personalized lesson plans and homework. Our YIC students are prohibited from using personal devices while in custody, so each home has provided a computer and projector for the live communication.
In addition, services are provided to each home from our instructional aids. Homework, packets, assignments, activities, etc. are printed off using school resources as normal, and delivered to each home on a weekly basis. At the end of each week, the instructional aids collect the assignments from the homes and deliver them to the teachers via Google Drive to be corrected.
Pleasant Creek Educational COVID-19 Educational Plan 2020
It has been ordered by Governor Gary Herbert, Governor of the State of Utah, to continue the school dismissal until further analysis of the COVID-19 pandemic until May 1, 2020. Pleasant Creek High School consists of two educational programs for local students utilizing our services for credit recovery, and Youth in Care (YIC) students confined to rehabilitation homes with assigned staff members.
To continue providing quality and effective education to the students at Pleasant Creek High School, and to fully include our educational staff to complete their contract hours, we propose the following for our YIC programs:
1. Teachers and teacher aids (TA’s) will continue to attend live webinar instructions through Zoom services.

b. Teachers and TA’s will attend all live sessions and be involved with student and staff help as needed.
2. Teachers and TA’s will provide assignments as necessary for daily lesson plans.

d. Other resources needed for student success
5. During non-instructional time, teachers and TA’s will perform daily duties such as correcting tests/homework, collaborating with one another regarding the next days/weeks lesson(s), and entering grades into Powerschool for students to stay on top of their progress.
For the SOAR program we propose the following:
1. SOAR students will work from home using either resources provided by North Sanpete School District, or their own resources to access either Edgenuity or Oddysseyware LMS services to continue the credit recovery program.
2. Students will have access to their TA, the Pleasant Creek Registrar, and our school counselor from 8:15 AM to 2:30 PM each day to perform the following requests:
