Fundations is a daily 30 minute literacy program taught within the classroom. This program focuses on phonics, spelling, and handwriting. Students learn a variety of syllable types and specific letter sounds/ rules. Students also learn trick words, which are words that do not follow the spelling rules, to provide support with spelling.
