My name is Sandy Akdikmen (Mrs. A.) and I am in my 19th year of teaching at Nashoba Regional School District.  I've been the K-5 Instructional Technology teacher for 16 years and spent 3 years traveling throughout the District teaching K-2 Technology. Before working for NRSD, I taught Technology for 3 years in the Westborough Public Schools.

I have a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Northeastern University.  I also have a Master's in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Before becoming a teacher, I was a Hardware Engineer and designed test equipment for Digital Equipment Corporation.  I have three children of my own, all of whom are in their twenties.  /thirties

I am very grateful to be working with the children of Lancaster and teaching at MRE.  I love designing integrated, innovative lessons that cultivate critical thinkers, problem-solvers, collaborators, and communicators.

If you need to get in touch with me for any reason, I can be reached at: aakdikmen@nrsd.net or here at the school at ex: 1110
