Welcome to my office! My name is Lauren Lappas, and I have recently been appointed the new Dean of Students at Hale Middle School.
Although I know I will miss my classroom a TON, I cannot wait to be in-and-out of other classes and remain present throughout our building. In this role I plan to continue to form meaningful relationships with our students and work to create a safe, supportive and positive environment for all! Additionally, my goals circulate around enhancing students' academic experiences, bettering social-emotional wellbeing, encouraging equity, providing empathy, and embody cultural proficiency. I believe that learning is a collaborative process, and I am here to support YOU every step of the way. Let's make this year the best yet!
