RULES:
Do not enlarge or reduce the entry form. The bookmark outline must be 10 1/8" in height and 3" wide.
Check your spelling!
You may use the medium of your choice, such as markers, crayons, pens, pencils, pastels, etc… (Note: Gel pens do not copy well)
ALL ARTWORK MUST BE ORIGINAL. This applies to BOTH hand-drawn and digital works.
Digital artwork is allowed, but must be original. NO AI image or art generators may be used.
NO licensed characters may be used (from books, TV, movies, comics, etc).
Use of recognizably licensed artwork will result in disqualification.
Only one student artist is allowed to create and submit a bookmark. Only one submission per student artist.
SUBMISSION: Submit ALL entries through your School Librarian
STUDENTS MUST SUBMIT ALL ENTRIES TO THEIR SCHOOL LIBRARIAN BY February 6th, 2026.
The School Librarian must be an active MSLA member and will select one finalist per division to send to the state contest.
Private entries are not eligible.

Bookmarks are due to Ms. Casale a week before the final submission date. This allows for everyone to vote on the three finalists that will be sent into the Massachusetts competition.
