Welcome to the fourth grade! I'm so glad you will be joining me this year.
Great news: we will explore a new reading and writing program and kick off the program with a poetry unit. Do you have any favorite math games? I do, and I can't wait to play them with you! Social Studies promises to be interesting, too. When in history do you think we'll travel together? What an exciting journey we'll be taking!

Class Overview
Reading, writing, math, science, and social studies, oh my! With all these choices, choosing a favorite will be difficult. Which ones do you like the most? I can never decide. Curling up with a good book, sharing my ideas, playing math games with friends, solving problems with the group on one of our many whiteboards, or traveling to new times and places all sound good. What an adventure we'll be taking together. I can't wait to get started.
